On February 17 2009, nine Lubuto Library art students displayed their work at the Henry Tayali Gallery in Lusaka, Zambia
Kids from Phelps Luck Elementary School in Columbia, MD and the Matnas Community Arts Center in Sapir, Israel participated in a year long literacy and cultural arts program. They wrote stories, illustrated them, and performed through an ancient Japanese storytelling technique called Kamishibai. On June 10, 2009 the two groups of kids shared and performed their stories over a live web chat.

Volunteers in Belize Orphanage Program December 2013 and January 2014. There are currently 25 children residing at the orphanage. The children range from 5yrs-15 years old. Our volunteers support the staff in terms of their daily routines, and also offer outside input for activities and recreational ideas. During the school term volunteer will help with the children's breakfast, and escorting them to school. Afternoon work needs are farming, gardening, animal care, cooking, laundry, cleaning. Noopur one of the oldest Odishi dance training institute in city (Berhampur) organized a cultural festival to showcase the talent of its students on the 16th of April 2014 at the Ganjam Kala Parishad, Berhampur.
I worked in fall 2009 with the Greater Austin Fundraising Professionals group (AFP) to promote their main annual fundraising event - Philanthropy Day. I created several printed ads and all the mailing and day-of printed materials for the event.

The 15th GLOBE Annual Meeting was held in Bethesda, Maryland, on July 17 – 22, 2011.
The theme of this year's meeting was "Expanding International Perspectives About Climate." More than 180 teachers, scientists and GLOBE community members from 46 countries (including representatives from 26 U.S. and the District of Columbia) took part in the welcoming events, informative presentations, networking sessions, poster presentations and field studies over the course of the 5-day event.

Gateway's Culinary Arts program students teamed up with Tremper high school students for a Chili Cook Off on the Racine Campus on Friday, December 2, 2016. Students prepared and presented their creations for a panel of judges who had the pleasure of sampling each team's creative interpretation of their chili recipe.
